Safety Awareness Glasgow (SAG)was set up in 2015 to educate, encourage and support vulnerable individual, and organisations in Glasgow about health and safety. We are community’s and people’s led organisation and our aim is to promote safety and general wellbeing of people in our community. By doing so, people can live healthy and safely to fulfil their potential, minimised incidents and accidents that have observed to have cause panic and worry in the community. Also, to reduce pressure on public services such as NHS, the Police Scotland, Fire and Rescue Scotland, costal guard etc. Our services comprise Cyber Safety, Environmental Safety, General and Home Safety, Oral safety, heathy Eating and other activities that encourage social inclusion and integration of vulnerable individuals (including Asylum Seekers, Refugees Ethnic minority and other vulnerable people our community. Safety Awareness Glasgow seek to get individuals of the of the ethnic minority, A8 Nationals, International students, Visitors that are new in Glasgow and environs to be educated on basic safety and well-being through the delivery of free workshops, seminars and trainings.
